Launch Your First Clever Workspace

New teams often stall at setup. This walkthrough keeps you moving so you can see value in one session without wrestling with settings.

What you'll ship

  • A new Clever workspace
  • A connected data source (CSV or warehouse)
  • A live revenue dashboard with sharing turned on

Steps

  1. Create a workspace – In Clever Studio, choose New Workspace and name it after your team. Keep access open while you iterate.
  2. Connect data – Upload a CSV or connect Snowflake/BigQuery. Tag the connection with the department that owns the data so governance stays clear.
  3. Generate the dashboard – Use the prompt "Create a revenue dashboard with MRR, churn, and ARR". Clever lays out charts; tweak titles, filters, and brand colors.
  4. Share it – Click Publish, copy the live link, and share with stakeholders. Set viewer or editor roles as needed.

Tips for faster wins

  • Keep one clean source of truth; avoid mixing staging data into production dashboards.
  • Save prompts you like as "recipes" so teammates can re-run them with fresh data.
  • Add a short Loom walkthrough to the dashboard description to drive adoption.
